Our visit to Gin Gin’s in Grand Rapids was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The drinks were absolutely top-notch—expertly crafted cocktails that were as visually stunning as they were delicious. Whether you’re a fan of a classic Old Fashioned or something more creative, their bartenders know how to mix a perfect drink. And the food? Simply incredible! Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully plated, and made with high-quality ingredients. From appetizers to entrees, everything we tried was cooked to perfection. The balance of flavors, the freshness of the ingredients, and the attention to detail made each bite a delight. To top it all off, the service was impeccable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. They made sure we had everything we needed and offered great recommendations. If you’re in Grand Rapids and looking for an exceptional dining experience with great drinks and amazing food, Gin Gin’s is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great experience - NYE addition! Reservation for 4 and was sat immediately upon arriving. The staff was very friendly, explained the menu, frequently checked in and provided refills. Wagyu meatballs were excellent - 10/10! The steaks were good but I’d rate them a 8/10. Individual bathrooms are always nice for busy establishments and they were well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our dinner and would love to check out the bar experience next time!

Stopped in to Gin Gins this past week while on a work trip and it did not disappoint. Last time I was in Grand Rapids we did Butcher’s Union (same restaurant group) which is also very good but I thought Gin Gin’s was even better and would definitely be my recommendation between the two. The space is pretty massive split between a more dusk dining room and a bright bar area, we were able to get a table for 3 right away at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday but the place was filled to the brim really quickly. Service is excellent, and they make good recommendations. For food definitely get a steak, their Ribeye competes with any other really good steak that I’ve had back home in Chicago. For sides, I recommend the Mac N cheese, potatoes gratin, and the house rolls. Fries are good too but if you want to skip one of those choices that would be the one I’d eliminate. And you MUST get the cheesecake for dessert. Probably one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. Definitely a good spot to make a dinner reservation if you’re visiting Grand Rapids!

Our first time was a wonderful experience! Great drink menu, great prices. Delicious and trusted seafood... oysters were yum! Our hostess, Nina was excellent and so kind. The atmosphere and lighting is perfect... moody and such a vibe. We will definitely be returning!

My wife and I went on a busy Saturday night, the wait was only about an hour for a table for two. We both were craving pasta, so I had the Crab Lumache (white sauce picture) and my wife had the Short Rib Ravioli (red sauce pasta). Both were SO delicious. We also had the Potato Gratin, and the Parker House Rolls. Can't stress enough - GET THE ROLLS. Can't wait to go back and try the steaks.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at our favorite restaurant in the Grand Rapids area, and it was an unforgettable evening. We started with the oysters, which are hands down the best in the region. Next, we indulged in the ceviche and Wagyu meatballs, both of which were absolutely amazing and packed with flavor. For our main courses, we ordered the Wagyu Queen Delmonico and Spaghetti alla Vodka. The steak was a standout — easily one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. As for the spaghetti, it’s my wife’s favorite, and she was thrilled with how perfectly it was prepared. To top off the evening, the restaurant generously treated us to a Black Cherry Sundae, which was a delightful birthday surprise. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate us. It’s clear why this restaurant is our number one choice in the Grand Rapids area — they consistently serve the best food, and the experience is always top-notch.

Recommend getting the oysters. Our server Keenan was wonderful and made sure to check on us often. We had a great experience. The food and drinks were both fantastic. I would recommend getting a reservation but they also take walk in’s but expect a potential wait. We got there just before 5 and the restaurant was already full but we luckily were able to get the last available table. Can’t wait to come back again!

My husband and I had a reservation but arrived a bit too early. We decided to sit at the bar until our table was ready. We ended up canceling our table and opted to stay and enjoy our dinner at the bar, something we don’t do often, but so glad we did. I enjoyed the craft put into every drink, the staff’s attentiveness, like wheels on a clock, everyone had a job and picked up where one left off. I ordered the crabs cake and it was good, my husband however was very impressed with his steak. Even though it wasn’t the best cut.. he said the way they prepared it was better than the best cut he’s had in other restaurants. (High praise coming from him) I didn’t take much photos. The drinks was amazing! Can’t wait for our next date night to try other items :)
